All-round service engineer

The position

As an All-round trouble-shooting engineer, you and your colleagues will ensure the smooth and trouble-free running of all production activities. You will take charge of the repair, overhaul and periodic maintenance of all machines and installations in the mechanical and electrical fields. In this dynamic role, the aim is to fix faults, but just as important to prevent them in the future. Analytical, result-oriented and communicative are important qualities to make the job a success. In short, as part of a team, you will ensure that our high-tech machinery is and remains in reliable and production-ready condition.

To achieve this, you have the following responsibilities:

• You receive fault reports, gather the necessary information and assess the nature, scope and priority of the fault;
• You localise the (root) cause of the malfunction, ensure that the malfunction is structurally fixed and accurately register the malfunction data in the maintenance information system;
• You also carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, modification and overhaul activities based on the maintenance plan, work orders and inspection findings;
• You contribute to the adjustment of various machines based on the production planning;
• You support (external companies) in carrying out activities such as commissioning and testing new machines and installations (projects);
• You identify opportunities for improvement with regard to technical situations, productivity and quality of breakdowns and mechanical maintenance.

Your profile

• You have at least MBO4 working and thinking level in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering with Electrical experience;
• You have relevant work experience in the process industry, preferably in the food industry;
• You have knowledge of packaging machines;
• You are used to working with maintenance management systems such as TD Office;
• You have analytical skills and are creative in finding solutions, always with an eye for safety, hygiene and quality;
• You have strong communication and analytical skills;
• You are stress-resistant and accurate;
• You are willing to work in a 3-shift operation and are also willing to work on-call shifts according to a set schedule.
