1957 - Cor Oostrom is the founder of COROOS.
In this year, Mr Oostrom left his father's canning company to work independently in canning fruit in particular. He rented part of the Bato cannery in Oosterhout and started canning soft fruits such as strawberries, blackberries and raspberries there.
The factory was named C. Oostrom's cannery and products were sold under the name CORCO.
