1958 - 1960
Mr Oostrom found a nice piece of land in Kapelle-Biezelinge with the help of government subsidy schemes to build his own factory.
The land was purchased and a 7000m2 factory with characteristic arches for the production halls was built. With the help of employees who worked for the company in Oosterhout, asparagus production could be started. Later, soft fruit productions also came to the factory in Kapelle. For the village, this meant a considerable expansion; some 20 workers came to live in the village with their families.
